    Constructed as a N1K2-J by Kawanishi at Naruo, Japan.

    1944

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Force with s/n 5128 and operated with these markings: 343-A-19.

    1944

    Transferred to 343rd Kokutai (Naval Air Group), Shikoku Island.
    The 343rd was commanded by Captain Minoru Genda and this aircraft was flown by ace Warrant Officer Kinsuke Muto.

    November 1945

    Transported by ship.
    Moved to the United States on the escort carrier USS Barnes (CVE 20).

    1946

    Apparently assigned Foreign Equipment number FE-306. Later, while under evaluation, it was assigned T2-306.

    1947

    Assigned to NAS Norfolk, VA for storage.

    1974

    To New England Air Museum, Bradley International Airport, Windsor Locks, CT.
