    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 59-0010.

    13 April 1960

    To 5th FIS, 32nd FG, Minot AFB ND.

    17 January 1971

    Transferred to 5th FIS, 32nd FW, Minot AFB ND.

    12 September 1979

    Damaged.
    Mid-air collision with F-106A 57-0236. The collision saw 14 feet of the nose of 0010 sheered off. Both aircraft recovered and both were repaired by Sacramento ALC. After a new nose was put on at Minot by a Sacramento team, 010 was FCFd and flown to McClellan AFB for completion of the nose rework and was subsequently reassigned to Minot.

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number FN0069.

    17 May 1993

    To AEL Inc, East Alton IL.
    For drone conversion.

    21 October 1993

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n AD246 as a QF-106A.

    15 July 1997

    To Dryden FRC, Edwards AFB CA.
    Transferred to NASA as a backup airframe for the reusable tow-launch vehicle testing during Eclipse Project.
