    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Vansant Airport (9N1) Erwinna, PA, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The stearman PT-17 had landed and was slowing down to clear the runway when a gust of wind lifted the right wing off the ground. The instructor pilot attempted to gain control by adding power and left brake but the aircraft went off the runway to the left and down an incline into trees...

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the New Garden Airport (N57) Toughkenamon, PA, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. According to the pilot, he was instructed by personnel on the ground to side-step and land on a grass strip located to the left of the runway. After touching down on the grass, a wind gust raised the right wing and the airplane veered off the left side of the runway. The airplane then impacted trees and came to rest upright...
