John R. Pitman LCDR USN Retired reports: 141311 was on Guam in March 1974 when I was in VRF-31. I flew the right seat on it coming out of VQ-1 to Davis-Monthan and DOD storage. We flew to Midway to check to see why the oil tank would not transfer oil. One of the engines were sucking up more than it should have. We filled the tank and pressed on for DM. This was the last Connie on Guam at the time. |
