    Constructed as a WV-2.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 141311.

    August 1961

    Transferred to Pacific Missile Range, Point Mugu.

    November 1962

    Redesignated as EC-121K.

    March 1974

    John R. Pitman LCDR USN Retired reports: 141311 was on Guam in March 1974 when I was in VRF-31. I flew the right seat on it coming out of VQ-1 to Davis-Monthan and DOD storage. We flew to Midway to check to see why the oil tank would not transfer oil. One of the engines were sucking up more than it should have. We filled the tank and pressed on for DM. This was the last Connie on Guam at the time.

    7 May 1979

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number 5C0107.

    To National Museum of the United States Air Force Loan Program, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.

    4 June 1983

    Ferry flight. Delivered to Chanute AFB, Rantoul, IL.

    4 June 1983

    Aircraft arrived at Chanute AFB with #2 engine shut down and prop feathered. Aircraft was then placed on display.

    1994

    Loaned to Chanute Air Museum, Chanute AFB (formerly), Rantoul, IL.
    Chanute AFB closed in 1993, and the aircraft passed to the new museum.
