    Constructed as a CLA-7.
    Built at Hooton Park, Manchester, UK

    Circa 1932

    To British Air Navigation Co Ltd based, Heston Aerodrome with new c/r G-ABWH.
    One of only 3 Gipsy 3 powered Comper Swifts built as outright racing aeroplanes. It flew in the Kings Cup races of 1932,1933.

    December 1933

    To Roger Wolfe Kahn with new c/r NC27K.
    Flew in the Roosevelt Field Air Races. It was also roported to have been used in the 1934 Clevland Air Race.

    From 18 July 1935 to 31 December 1938

    To Capt. Walter Laurence Hope, 49, Twickenham Road, Teddington, Middlesex with new c/r G-ABWH.
    Based at Croydon Aerodrome It flew in the Kings Cup races of 1935,1936 and 1938.
