    To Capel Aviation/Alain Capel, La Ferte-Alais.

    Contracted to Avioane Aircraft Factory, Romania for work on the airframe.

    Remanufactured as a Yak-3U (replica).
    New construction number, 005, assigned to the airframe.
    Rebuilt as a single-seater with and Pratt and Whitney R1830.

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Half Moon Bay Airport (HAF) Half Moon Bay, CA, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. Prior to landing the pilot observed 3 green lights indicating that the landing gear was down and locked. During the landing roll the left main landing gear collapsed, which resulted in substantial damage to the left wing and aileron...
