    1942

    Transferred to Chanute Technical Training Command.

    Designated obsolete.

    Ferry flight.
    Flown to Buckley Field, Colorado.

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the United States Army Air Force.

    Sent to a technical school.

    Acquired by a Pratt and Whitney tech instructor from Canada.

    By 1998

    Acquired by a collector in Florida.

    Civil registration N80FR {2} reserved.
    Reserved by Fighter Rebuilders Llc C/O Steve Hinton, Chino, CA.

    Original parts capable of overhaul were collected to ensure the aircraft could be completely restored to flying condition.

    From 2011 to 2015

    Restored.
    The work was carried out under the leadership of Matt Nightingale at Chino, CA. Finished in 27th Pursuit Squadron markings.

    First post-restoration Flight.
    Flown by Steve Hinton.
