    Summary: The airframe was written off. There were 10 fatalities. The military flight departed Lossiemouth RAF Station (LMO/EGQS), United Kingdom and was destined for Benbecula Airport (BEB/EGPL), United Kingdom. The accident occurred at 3,2 km (2 mls) S of Tarbert (United Kingdom) while en route. Narrative: On the morning of 30 April 1990, the crew of Shackleton AEW2 WR965 took off from RAF Lossiemouth to participate in a maritime exercise in the Benbecula area to the west of mainland Scotland.
