    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 42-19995.

    Transferred to 8th FG, 36th FS.
    Operated with markings: Snooks 2nd
    It is assumed the airframe was assigned to this unit since it was flown by Medal of Honor recipiant Lt. William a. Shomo who flew this plane, and Lt. Shomo was assigned to the 8th FB, 36th FS.

    Converted to a P-39Q-6-BE.

    To Pima Air and Space Museum, Davis-Monthan AFB (South Side), Tucson, AZ.

    Recovered.
    Hulk recovered from Tadji PNG for the Yesterdays Air Force by Charles Darby and Monty Armstrong, NZ.
