    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 155648.

    June 1969

    Converted to an A-6C.
    Converted to A-6C night interdiction aircraft.

    1977

    Converted to an A-6E.

    From By 1980 to 1981

    Transferred to VA-165.
    Operated with markings: NG-504

    From 1982 to After 1984

    Transferred to VA-145.
    Operated with markings: NE-500

    After 1984

    Re-winged with composite wings.

    After 1984

    Transferred to VMA (AW)-121.

    1984

    Markings Applied: VA-145, NE-510

    1988

    Transferred to VMA (AW)-121, USS Ranger.
    , damaged in fuel pit fire at NAS Fallon, NV. Left in NAS Fallon in non-flying status.

    1989

    Transferred to VMA (AW)-242.
    Transferred to 242 in non-flying status, awaiting depot repair team to replace windscreen and right intake.

    November 1990

    Repaired.
    Repaired and returned to flight status. Vertical stab badly corroded. One time flight authorized to fly it to Whidby Island to VA-52 where it was put back into depot repair status to repair vertical stab. Transferred by Pac ATO 0498-9U via ComNavAirPac msg DTG 130617Z Nov 90.
