    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 56-2993.

    Damaged.
    After taking off from RAF Sculpthorpe, it narrowly avoided a midair collision with a B-66 Destroyer near the RAF Cowden range and in doing so damaged the left aileron and flap with several pieces coming lose of the airframe. The aircraft managed to return to Sculpthorpe. Aircraft was repaired and returned to service.
