    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army with s/n 68-17044.

    From 25 May 1970 to 24 May 1971

    Transferred to A Troop 3/17th Air Cav, 1st Avn Bde, Quan Loi, III Corps.
    Mike Billow comments (30 December 2013): 044 was my Cobra in Vietnam as a pilot with A Troop 3/17th Air Cav, 1st Avn Bde, Quan Loi, III Corps.

    Converted to an AH-1Q.

    1975

    Transferred to 2nd ACR, Germany.
    Mike Billow comments (30 December 2013): I saw it again when it was converted to a AH-1Q and assigned to the 2nd ACR Germany. I would appreciate any updated information or POCs at the WSL, NCC China Lake to see if the remains could possibly be donated to a 501 3(c) aviation musuem in Carson City, NV www.cactusairforce.com Thank you!
