    Crashed.
    There was one minor injury. The accident occurred at Alma, GA, United States while cruising. The damage was substantial. The pilot reported that during cruise flight, the aircraft engine lost power. The pilot attempted an emergency landing in a field. During the emergency landing, the aircraft wheels sank into the soft terrain and the aircraft nosed over...

    Notes: Also known as the Goodrich Waco Taperwing, this particular aircraft emerged from the factory on July 8, 1929. Stunt pilot and skywriter Col. Joe Mackey purchased the ship in 1934 and, two years later, had the fabric skin replaced entirely by metal, making this Waco unique
