    Constructed as a P-47D-40-RA by Republic at Evansville, Indiana, USA.

    Circa 1945

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 45-49192.

    Transferred to Air Training Command.

    Withdrawn from use.
    Removed from active service and stored at Tinker AFB, OK.

    Circa 1953

    Restored.
    The work was carried out at Hensley Field, TX before delivery to Peruvian Air Force.

    From March 1953 to 1967

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Fuerza Aerea del Peru with s/n 545.

    March 1953

    Transferred to Piura AB, Peru.

    From 1963 to 1969

    Withdrawn from use.
    Placed in open storage.

    9 May 1969

    To Ed Jurist.
    Purchased by Ed Jurist and arrived in Brownsville, TX, on the SS Rosaldina, with five others and 45 tons of spares.

    Reassembled.
    The work was carried out by the Commemorative Air Force in Harlingen, TX.

    To Vintage Aircraft International Ltd/Ed Jurist, Nyack, NY with new c/r N47DD {1}.
