    Constructed as a B-47B-50-BW by Boeing at Wichita, KS, USA.

    Circa 1953

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 51-2315.

    Circa 1953

    Transferred to 320th Bombardment Wing, Mather AFB, CA.

    Circa June 1959

    Transferred to 305th Bombardment Wing, Bunker Hill (later Grissom) AFB, IN.

    March 1961

    Damaged.
    Right outboard engine (#6) exploded during an in-flight refueling, taking 15 feet of the wing with it. The wing was repaired.

    1968

    Damaged.
    Hard landing at Bunker Hill AFB, which broke the aircraft back permanently grounding it.
