    Constructed as a SR-7B.

    By 1938

    To Pepsi Cola with new c/r NC3040.
    Became the PepsiCola Stinson where it served as a banner towing platform and a VIP transport.

    Circa 1955

    The plane was dismantled for refurbishment around 1955 (the exact date is not clear). Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) the project was not completed and the plane ended up hanging from the rafters of a barn in pieces.

    Certificate of airworthiness for N3040 (SR-7B, 9654) issued.

    11 July 1997

    To Wilson C. Selden, Lincoln, CA with new c/r N3040.

    2 February 2012

    To Ackerman Garry, Plano, TX keeping c/r N3040.
    Markings added: NC3040

    The engine and propeller were loaded up and hauled to Radial Engines Ltd. in Guthrie OK where our friend Caleb will make them like new.
