    Involved in an incident.
    Summarized NTSB narrative from report number MIA71FLD60: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 16:20 hours. The damage was substantial. Incident occurred at the Vero Beach Airport, Vero Beach, FL. This was a local flight from Vero Beach, FL. The engine failed or malfunctioned while circling in the traffic pattern. Collided with an object on touch down. The factors included; airport conditions were a factor. There was complete power loss in the failure of one engine...

    Certificate of airworthiness for NX47TB (P-47N-20-RE, 44-89136) issued.

    21 March 2002

    Crashed.
    There was one serious injury. The accident occurred at the Albuquerque International Airport (ABQ) Albuquerque, NM, United States while taking off. The damage was substantial. According to the pilot, who was an FAA certified airframe and power plant mechanic, on the morning the accident, he completed re-installing the engine following its overhaul by another company. He made several engine run and leak checks and all parameters were within limits and no leaks were noted...
