    Notes: This unmarked Grumman LU-16C Albatross is Bu.Aer 142428. This a/c was one of a few able to land on snow, as well as water and land, after it was fitted with special three-way landing gear for operation DEEP FREEZE.An attempt was made to restore this one to flight, but it was too corroded. c/n 212 is seen in Western Internationals yard in Tucson,
