    Constructed as a NA-68.
    Ordered by Siam for the Royal Thai Air Force in November 1939. 4th aircraft built.

    November 1940

    Redesignated as NA-50A.

    November 1940

    Pursuant to an embargo against exporting weapons to any nation other than the United Kingdom, the aircraft was seized by the Army Air Corps for use as an advanced trainer.

    16 April 1941

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 41-19085 as a P-64.

    1941

    Transferred to West Coast Training Command, Luke Field, AZ.

    20 June 1941

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 41-19085.

    1943

    Transferred to Headquarters, West Coast Training Command, Santa Anna, CA.
    Assigned as personal aircraft for Col. Hoyt.

    1943

    Col. Hoyt had 875 hp Wright R-1820-GR100 replaced with 1200 hp Wright R-1820-27.

    1945

    Transferred to War Assets Administration, Albuquerque, NM.
    On the flight to Abuquerque, Col. Hoyt had to belly land at Demming AFB, NM due to engine problems. Took several weeks to repair before flight completed.

    22 February 1946

    To Jack Canary and L. C. Hoffman, Phoenix, AZ with new c/r NX37498.
    Mr. Canary was a field representative for North American Aviation. Aircraft was painted red and black and used for publicity work in Arizona.

    13 September 1946

    To Jack Canary/Phoenix Aviation, Phoenix, AZ keeping c/r NX37498.
    Aircraft modified for rain-making.

    3 December 1947

    To Charles Barnes/Precipitation Control Corp, Phoenix, AZ keeping c/r NX37498.

    10 December 1947

    To Precipitation Control Company, Phoenix, AZ keeping c/r NX37498.
    Markings added: Barnstorm #3

    Aircraft was given a 1350 hp Wright R-1820-60 for high altitude performance. Aircraft was used for cloud seeding.

    Civil registration, NX37498, cancelled.
    Sold to Mexico.

    To Precipitation Control Corporation, Mexico City keeping c/r XB-KUU.

    Withdrawn from use.
    Parked at Long Beach, CA.

    Shared purchase with Art Kilps. Poberenzy was EAA President and Kilps EAA Treasurer, and the aircraft was purchased for donation to EAA Air Museum.

    Raced as #1.
    The race was from Milwaukee, WI, to Reno. This race number was temporary and was assigned for this Cross Country Race only. Competed at the National Championship Air Races in the Harolds Club Transcontinental race. The primary pilot was Carl Koeling. Started the One Mile Course race, but did not finish. Dropped out right after the start and returned to the starting point with electrical issues.
