    Constructed as a Ho-IIL.

    To unknown owner.

    Notes: During the Rhon contest on the mountain Wasserkuppe, Germany.

    1944

    Used in the development of the Horten Ho-IX/229 twin-jet fighter-bomber. Most notably it was flown as a wind-tunnel substitute for the Ho-IX V-6, with its extended, pointed nose, dummy air-intakes and exhausts, and twin small fins.

    1945

    Captured by the American soldiers.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n FE-7.

    New serial number assigned: T2-7 USAAF

    1950

    To National Air and Space Museum, Washington D. C.

    To Museum fur Verkehr und Technik, Berlin, Germany.
    The NASM exchanged D-10-125 for complete restoration of three other Horten gliders.

    Circa 1994

    Restored.

    Placed on display with Deutsches Technikmuseum (Berlin Technology Museum), Berlin, Berlin.
    Before 1996 known as Museum fur Verkehr und Technik. In 2001 moved to current location.
