    Restored.
    Markings Applied: U+CF
Remains of the Ar 96B-1 c/n 425462 s/n ?U+CF were used as a basis of composite restoration project. Wings came from Czechoslovak post-war production version Avia C-2B. The airframe of the Ar 96B-1 c/n 4210 stored in France was used as a pattern for reproducing missing components. Moreover, parts from the Ar 96B-1 c/n 4246 from Norway were also used as model for reproduction. Many minor original parts were acquired from all over the Europe.

According to other sources the basis for restoration was the wreck of Ar 96B-1 c/n 4081 with almost identical history. Produced in 1943, served in Luftwaffe with s/n CD+DH (code 119). On 1 September 1944 hijacked by its pilot who defected and landed in Varobacka, Sweden. Registered as SE-AOB and owned by several companies and persons it ended up with Nils Peterson. De-registered in 1955. However information board at the museum clearly states that many parts came from ?U+CF while there is no mention at all about CD+DH.
