    Constructed as a DH-60.
    Built by De Havilland Aircraft Co., Ltd., Stag Lane Aerodrome, Edgware, Middlesex and powered by a ADC Cirrus I of 60hp, G-AUAE was the first Moth to be exported to Australia.

    1928

    To Australian Aero Club (NSW Section) keeping c/r G-AUAE.

    28 August 1929

    To Australian Aero Club (NSW Section) with new c/r VH-UAE.
    Now with a Gipsy I engine.

    1930

    Involved in an incident.
    The aircraft stolen from Hargrave Park, NSW, and damaged on landing at Granville Showgrounds, the first known aircraft theft in Australia.

    To W S Harman.

    To Tugan Aircraft Ltd, Mascot NSW.

    25 November 1936

    To David Salter, Walcha, NSW keeping c/r VH-UAE.

    22 July 1940

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Australian Air Force with s/n A7-88.

    9 March 1945

    To Bruce Cowan of La Perouse, NSW.
    Purchased for 100 Australian dollars.

    3 July 1945

    To H. Hayes, Bega, NSW, with new c/r VH-UAE.

    Notes: Airworthy DH.60G Gipsy Moth VH-UAE rolled out from its shed on the owners farm Stanley Park, Garema NSW in July 1967. This was the very first Moth imported back in November 1925 as a DH.60 with Cirrus engine. It survived many accidents and engine changes and was impressed by RAAF as A7-88 for wartime training.

    Restoration completed.
    By Croydon Aircraft Co. in New Zealand.
