    EDITOR NOTE: There seems to be two airframes laying claim to the c/n 75-0341. It is believed this is the correct airframe, but this is not certain. In the interest of full disclosure we are linking the second airframe dossier here.

    On August 27 1947 the RFC amends original documentation - The confusion over the correct c/n for this aircraft dates back to the Bill of Sale issued by the Reconstruction Finance Corporation on 5th March 1946 - where the details of the Aircraft was typed as 01784 75-1863 PT-17 - but this was amended by RFC to read 40-1784 c/n 75-341.

    21 July 1996

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the East Troy Municipal Airport (57C) East Troy, WI, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The pilot reported that he flew a normal approach to land on runway 8. During the landing roll, the airplane began to drift to the right. The pilot applied the brakes gently and the airplane nosed over. Examination of the airplane revealed the left rudder horn was fractured. No other evidence of mechanical malfunction was reported...
