    Constructed as a YF-104A.

    Circa 1955

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 55-2967.

    Used as a test aircraft at the Andrews AFB YF-104 test program.

    3 May 1957

    Damaged.
    Heavily damaged in a hard landing at Bergstrom AFB, Austin, Texas and withdrawn from use. Repaired to static display.

    After May 1957

    Redesignated as GF-104A.

    To National Museum of the United States Air Force Loan Program, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.
