    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 42-46713.

    After 23 June 1943

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n FK887 as a Reliant I.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy.
    After WWII To US Navy inventory (as part of the BuNo serie 11294 - 11646).

    Converted to a V-77 by Vultee.
    Back to the factory for conversion to the civilian market.

    Certificate of airworthiness for N69996 (V77, 77-74) issued.

    By 11 March 1990

    To Steve Sevier with new c/r N69996.

    Involved in an incident.
    The incident occurred at the Titusville Airport (TIX) Titusville, FL, United States while taking off. The damage was minor. The pilot stated he had departed from runway 9 at the space center executive airport, titusville, Florida. At about 100-150 feet above ground level, the airplane experienced a total loss of engine power. The pilot made a left turn towards runway 36. The airplane impacted the ground sustaining minor damage. The pilot was not injured...
