    Taken on Strength/Charge with the South African Air Force with s/n 7690.
    This was one of 65 reconditioned T-6/SNJs ordered by the SAAF via a US dealer from 1951 to 1952.

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Lakeland, FL, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The pilot stated that the tower controller had asked whether he could make the first turnoff and said that he had too much speed as he attempted to make the turn. He said the right wing lifted and he could not correct it before the left wingtip impacted the ground. The airplane swerved hard to the right and the left landing gear collapsed, bending the left wing...

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Falcon Field (FFZ) Mesa, AZ, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The pilot said that he was practicing his takeoffs and landings on runway 22L and the wind was from 160 at 10 knots. The airplane touched down and bounced and then the pilot transitioned the airplane to a three-point landing. The pilot reported that the wind lifted up the left wing. He attempted to correct; however, the tailwheel was not yet on the ground...
