    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 86774.
    At San Diego, CA.

    30 November 1945

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the United States Navy.

    Utilised in the film industry as a wind generator (minus wings).

    To Ed Maloney.

    Restored.
    A set of wings fitted.

    After 1957

    Placed on display with Air Museum, Claremont, CA.

    Placed on display with Planes of Fame Museum, Chino, CA.

    Notes: On a very cold February day, Southwest Texas native, Conrad Huffstutler delivered Fagen Fighters newest warbird, a 1945 FM-2 Wildcat. In 2013, this Warbird owned and restored by Conrad Huffstutlers Wild Warbirds of Uvalde, Texas, won EAAs Reserve Grand Champion WWII and the Gold Wrench
