    Constructed as a C-130A-LM by Lockheed at Marietta, GA.

    Circa 1957

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 57-0484.

    Converted to a C-130D-LM by Lockheed at Marietta, GA.
    Returned to the Lockheed factory to be modified with the ski system and redesignated C-130D-LM.

    From 1961 to By 1962

    Converted to a C-130D-6.
    After completion of the EW line radar sites on the Greenland icecap, six aircraft (57-0484 - 57-0489) had the external skis removed (but retained all internal components, specifically the entire hydraulic system) and were redesignated C-130D-6.

    Transferred to 17th TCS, 21st Composite Wing, Elmendorf Air Force Base, AK.

    To 61st TCS, 64th TAW, Little Rock AFB, AR.

    To 139th TAS, 109th TAG, New York ANG, Schenectady County Airport, NY.

    Converted to a C-130A-LM by Lockheed at Marietta, GA.

    Transferred to 142nd TAS, 166th TAG, Delaware ANG, New Castle County Airport, DE.
    Had possession for about 2 months.

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number CF047.

    March 1988

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Policia Nacional del Peru with s/n 383.
    Serial number 383 was used on L100-20 construction number 4708, but that aircraft was written off on June 9th, 1983.

    By November 1988

    Transferred to FAPe Esc 843.

    August 1993

    Scrapped.
