    Transferred to 4020th AAF Base Unit, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.

    13 October 1944

    Crashed.
    Landing accident at Bowman Field, KY, due to mechanical failure; pilot Robert M. Edholm.

    From 1944 to 1945

    Repaired.

    26 July 1945

    Assigned to U. S. Aircraft Section, Air Materiel Command, Freeman AAF, Seymour, IN for storage.
    Set aside for proposed USAAF aviation museum.

    9 May 1946

    Assigned to 803rd Special Depot, Orchard Place Airport, Park Ridge, IL for storage.
