    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 04351.

    Civil registration, N1523V, cancelled.

    June 1958

    Loaned to Kaman Aircraft, Bloomfield, CT.

    From 1958 to 1959

    Converted to a K-16B by Kaman.
    Tilt-wing experimental aircraft with YT58 turboprops for VTOL/STOL development work.

    1960

    Ground runs at Windsor Locks, CT.

    1962

    Airfreighted by C-133 to Moffett Field, CA for wind tunnel tests then airfreighted back to Kaman and stored; never flown.

    June 1965

    To Bradley Air Museum, Bradley Field, Windsor Locks, CT.

    1983

    To New England Air Museum, Bradley International Airport, Windsor Locks, CT.
