    Constructed as a CV-2B by deHavilland Canada at Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

    From March 1963 to December 1966

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army with s/n 62-4160 and operated with these markings: Clementine.
    Assigned to 135th Aviation Company, Fort Benning, GA.

    By 31 December 1966

    Converted to a C-7A by deHavilland Canada at Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

    From 1 January 1967 to 14 September 1971

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 62-4160 and operated with these markings: KC.
    Transferred to USAF under operation Red Leaf. Assigned to the 458th Squadron - Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam.

    1983

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number CM-912.

    Circa 1985

    Converted to a DHC-4A by deHavilland Canada at Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

    1 October 1985

    To Newcal Aviation with new c/r N800NC.

    June 1986

    To Union Flights keeping c/r N800NC.

    4 October 1989

    To Greatland Air Cargo, Anchorage, AK keeping c/r N800NC.

    2 August 1996

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the New Stuyahok Airport (KNW) New Stuyahok, AK, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The airplanes nosegear collapsed during a landing roll on a gravel airstrip. Subsequent examination of the nosegear locking mechanism disclosed a failed hydraulic drag strut locking actuator.
