We named it Second Wind after our first plane, Last Lap Player was lost to a hangar collapse just weeks before PRS. Second Wind is virtually unchanged since it last raced in 2009.     Report from the team by Michael Mundell: This is our second year on the pylons, and happy to be back. Our racer is a modified Cassutt, built and raced by Ed Dutreaux. This year we replaced a leaking fuel tank, removed some ballast from the cockpit, and worked on engine cooling a little, but there are no real changes to the plane. Competed at the National Championship Air Races in the Formula One class. The primary pilot was Michael Mundell from Uniontown, OH. Qualified in 8th place with an average speed of 219.411 mph.
