    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n MT818.

    To John Fairey.
    John Robbins comments (16 May 2019): Airworthy at RAF Andover in the late 60s painted PR Blue with reg mitchell signatuer in white below cockpit. Owner, John Fairey.

    From 22 August 1946 to 1956

    To Vickers-Armstrongs Ltd, Eastleigh with new c/r G-AIDN.
    Used for development trials at High Post and Farnborough.

    Converted to a Spitfire TR.8.
    Rebuilt at Chilbolton as prototype two-seat trainer.
