    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 43-5802.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Canadian Air Force with s/n 840 as a Kittyhawk III.

    1943

    Transferred to Western Air Command.
    Flew with a number of RCAF squadrons, amassing a total of only 732 hours in military service.

    Transferred to Fighter Affiliation Flight, No. 5 Operational Training Unit.

    23 August 1946

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the Royal Canadian Air Force.

    Put up for disposal at the Patricia Bay AB on Vancouver Island, BC.

    To Vance B. Roberts, Seattle, WA with new c/r N1233N (P-40N, 27490).
    Editor note: It is worth noting that at this point in time the airframe was registered with the original construction number, 27490.

    Editor comment: It is worth noting here the FAA record appears to be revised to adopt the ID of the P-40N with USAAAF s/n 42-104640. This airframe was actually diverted to China and did not see USAAF service. It is assumed this airframe did not survive the war.
