    Summarized NTSB narrative from report number CHI69F0360: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 11:20 hours. The damage was substantial. The tail rotor failed while cruising. Suffered a hard landing while performing a power-off autorotative landing. The emergency circumstances included; forced off-airport landing on land. Report remarks include: Failure of t/r blade, serial number A3-38236. Incident occurred at or near Chicago, IL.

    Crashed.
    There were two minor injuries. The accident occurred at Arlington Hts, IL, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The pilot reported that he was the pilot of the second helicopter in a flight of two helicopters landing at the arlington park race tracks parking lot. As he approached the landing zone, he got too close to the lead helicopter. He slowed the helicopter to almost a hover and then tried to make a steep approach to the zone...
