    Constructed at Douglas aircraft Co in El Segundo, CA.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 144843.

    By 1961

    Transferred to VAP-62, USS Midway CVA-41.
    Operated with markings: GB, 2

    Circa 1961

    Notes: i made an inquire to Pensacola and got this

    September 1962

    Redesignated as RA-3B.

    1968

    Transferred to NAS Pax River.
    Used for equipment testing.

    1978

    Loaned to Raytheon.
    Returned to service and bailed to Raytheon to help with the captive carry portion of the Patriot missile development.
