    Constructed as a P-40N-30-CU by Curtiss at Buffalo, NY.

    Circa 1944

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 44-7192.

    1945

    Ferry flight.
    The Museums Warhawk may have the lowest flight time of any surviving warbird. It was flown directly from the Curtiss factory in Buffalo, NY, to storage near Tucson, Arizona. It arrived in Arizona with only 60 hours flight time on the airframe.

    Placed on display with Griffith Park, Los Angeles.

    Markings Applied: OReillys Daughter, 730
    The markings are typical of the Chinese-American Composite Wing circa 1944. The plane was named after OReillys Daughter, a popular Army Air Forces drinking song.
