    Crashed.
    Summary: The airframe was written off. There were two fatalities. The cargo flight departed Mexico City-Benito Juarez International Airport (MEX/MMMX), Mexico and was destined for Monterrey-General Mariano Escobedo International Airport (MTY/MMMY), Mexico. The accident occurred at near Mexico City (Mexico) while on approach. Narrative: Some 8 minutes after takeoff from Mexico City an engine failure was reported. ATC vectored the Convair for a runway 05R ILS approach. The Convair could not maintain height and the crew requested vectors for a runway 23L landing...
