    Constructed as a F-107A-NA by North American at Inglewood, CA.
    Originally ordered as F-102B

    28 November 1956

    First flight.

    Circa December 1956

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 55-5119 as a JF-107A.

    Circa December 1956

    Transferred to Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, CA.

    From December 1956 to March 1957

    It was the only one of the three F-107 prototypes to be fitted with the four 20-mm M39 cannon. Used for weapons testing with conventional weapons and atomic bombs.

    Ferry flight. Delivered to United States Air Force Museum, Patterson Field (East Side), Dayton, OH.
