    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army with s/n 51-16504.

    New construction number, 1096, assigned to the airframe.

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC).

    To unknown owner with c/r N64533.

    17 February 1956

    Civil registration, N64533, cancelled.

    7 November 1990

    To Turner Barry, San Jose, CA with new c/r N690 (BEAVER U-6A, 51-16504).

    10 February 1996

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Ashland, OR, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. While making a water landing in a ten knot 90 degree crosswind, the dual student allowed the aircraft to touch down in about a ten degree crab and the aircraft bounced hard from right to left. The flight instructor (CFI) took remedial action, but was unable to keep the aircraft from bouncing hard enough to cause damage to the horizontal stabilizer.
