    To Northwest Airlines.

    To Air Alaska.

    To Monroe Airlines, MI.

    By January 1951

    To Johnson Flying Service, Missoula, MT with new c/r N8419 (Ford 5-AT-C Tri-Motor, 5-AT-58).

    Used by the United States Fire Services but for a short while it was used in the film Red Skies of Montana.

    From 1956 to 1956

    Leased to Northwest Airlines.
    For a commemorative flight.

    4 August 1959

    Crashed.
    Summary: The damage to the airframe was substantial. There were three fatalities. The fire fighting flight departed Grangeville-Idaho County Airport, ID, United States of America and was destined for Moose Creek Airstrip, ID, United States of America. The accident occurred at Moose Creek, ID (United States of America) while on approach. The airframe was repaired. Narrative: The Tri-Motor took off from the Grangeville to deliver goods to the backcountry airstrip at Moose Creek on the Nezperce National Forest and to drop two smokejumpers on a fire burning on Pettibone Ridge...

    The aircraft is actually a composite rebuild of several wrecked Trimotors.
