    Constructed as a B-36J-1-CF by Convair at Fort Worth, Texas, USA.

    19 January 1954

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 52-2220.

    January 1954

    Transferred to 11th Bombardment (Heavy) Wing (Strategic Air Command), Carswell AFB, TX.

    December 1954

    Transferred to 42nd Bombardment (H) Wing (SAC), Loring AFB, ME.

    May 1956

    Transferred to 95th Bombardment (H) Wing (SAC), Biggs AFB, TX.

    3 February 1959

    Assigned to Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ for storage.

    30 April 1959

    Ferry flight.
    Flown from Davis-Monthan AFB to Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, Wright Field, for storage until new museum built. This was the last flight of a B-36. New facility had to finish construction after the B-36 was inside.

    Placed on display.
    New museum building opened to the public.

    Aircraft moved from original first hangar and parked in front of second hangar awaiting move into third hangar.
