    Constructed as a CV-2A by deHavilland Canada at Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
    Ordered as AC-1A, but redesignated in June 1962 during construction.

    October 1963

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army with s/n 62-4193.

    By 1965

    Transferred to 134th Aviation Company, Fort Benning, GA.

    From 30 November 1965 to 18 December 1965

    Base of operations changed.
    Can Tho, South Vietnam, via Hamilton AFB, CA to Hickham AFB, HI, to Midway, then Wake Island, Guam, and Philippines.

    1 January 1967

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 62-4193 as a C-7A.

    From 1 January 1967 to 30 April 1972

    Transferred to 457th Tactical Airlift Squadron, Cam Rahn Air Base, South Vietnam.

    March 1968

    Loaned to Air America.
    Markings changed to: 193
    Operated in Laos.

    May 1972

    Transferred to 357th Tactical Airlift Squadron, 918th Tactical Airlift Group 94th Tactical Airlift Wing (AFRES), Maxwell AFB, AL.

    March 1979

    Transferred to 700th Tactical Airlift Squadron, 918th Tactical Airlift Group, 94th Tactical Airlift Wing (AFRES), Dobbins Air Reserve Base, GA.

    May 1983

    Ferry flight. Delivered to National Museum of the United States Air Force, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.
