    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Fuerza Aerea Ecuatoriana with s/n 1969.

    To TAME Linea Aerea del Ecuador with new c/r HC-AUV.

    Involved in an incident.
    Summary: There was one fatality. The passenger flight departed Quito-Mariscal Sucre Airport (UIO/SEQU), Ecuador and was destined for Manta Airport (MEC/SEMT), Ecuador. The hijacking occurred at Tumaco-La Florida Airport (TCO) (Colombia) while en route. Narrative: Twelve men and a woman, some of them armed with machine guns, hijacked two TAME Ecuador C-47 planes. The hijackers shot and killed one crewman and wounded another. Both aircraft landed at Tumaco (TCO), Colombia for refueling. One airplane was left behind as the hijackers continued to Panama City-Tocumen Airport (PTY)...
