    Constructed as a C-47A-25-DK by Douglas at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA.

    Circa 1942

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 42-93654.

    13 June 1944

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n KG723.

    30 March 1949

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the Royal Air Force.

    10 January 1950

    To Air Tech. Limited, Thames Airfield, Oxon with new c/r G-ALWC.

    August 1950

    To Air Survey Co. Ltd keeping c/r G-ALWC.

    Contracted to Fairey Aviation Ltd, Manchester for work on the airframe.
    Modified for aerial survey work with Fairey.

    August 1950

    Flown across the Atlantic to carry out its first surveys in British Guiana and Carribean.

    30 September 1982

    The aircraft was further modified for flight trials work.

    March 1984

    To Societe Nouvelle Generale Air Sce (SNGA)/Robert V Boname with new c/r F-GBOL.

    1 May 1984

    To Visionair (International Aviation) Limited, P O Box 952, London W4 3uw with new c/r G-ALWC (DOUGLAS C47 DAKOTA 4, 13590).

    3 April 1989

    Civil registration, G-ALWC, cancelled.

    June 1995

    Placed on display with Ailes Anciennes Toulouse, Blagnac Airport (North East side), Toulouse, Midi-Pyrenees.
