Ken Wagner comments (21 December 2024): I was a USMC airframes mech assigned to USMC HQ ASD NAS Washington DC at Andrews AFB from 1979 thru 1981. We also had Tail# 128426 in our squadron at this time. This was a beautiful aircraft. I wish I had a dime for every gallon of Glass Wax we went thru keeping this queen spotless.

Glenn Schwarz comments (June 2015): 128427 was used as the Commandant Of the Marine Corps personal aircraft fitted with a VIP kit. It now resides at MCAS Cherry Point in bad condition. The aircraft was supposed to be put in a proposed museum that never happened. It is now slated to be chopped for scrap. I have contacts for anyone who has the means to help save the aircraft. Contact me at gschwarz@ec.rr.com. I am new to this site but I will try to upload photos.
