In January of 1986 it was discovered that the RH F-2 Longeron in the PDU bay severed in half on this same aircraft while as a Phase Dog on the T-Birds. This was the first cracked longeron ever reported to General Dynamics on any F-16, and later (after two more cracked longerons on other T-Bird aircraft were found) this became one of the main structural enhancements on SLEP/Falcon UP.
