    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n WP190.

    Transferred to 1 Squadron, RAF Tangmere.

    Participated in operations during the Suez Crisis.

    To RAF Stanbridge.
    Displayed as a gate guard at Standbridge.

    Markings Applied: WP180
    A one point was marked to represent and aircraft destroyed on the ground by EOKA terrists during the Suez Crisis.

    To Hunter Restoration Flight.

    To Raymond Hansed.

    Restored.
    Restored over five years.

    13 February 1976

    New serial number assigned: 8473M RAF

    26 November 1994

    Sold.

    5 June 2002

    To Tangmere Military Aviation Museum.
    Gifted to the Tangmere museum, but not immediately placed in storage.

    From Circa 5 June 2002 to Circa June 2002

    Placed in storage waiting for the new museum hangar to be built.

    By June 2002

    Transported by ground. Delivered to Tangmere Military Aviation Museum Trust, Tangmere, Sussex-West, England.
