Marked as s/n 44-33915 which was Canadian-built PBV-1A c/n CV-402 delivered to the USAAF under designation OV-10A. It landed in North Sea on Mar 30, 1945 to rescue pilot of downed P-51D but was unable to take off due to engine problems. Strafed and sunk by Me 262s the next day. All occupants escaped. |
