    Constructed as a PBV-1A by Canadian Vickers.

    27 November 1943

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Canadian Air Force with s/n 11005 as a Canso A.

    From November 1943 to August 1944

    Transferred to No. 9 Squadron, Bella Bella, BC, Canada.
    Anti-submarine patrol duties.

    From After August 1944 to July 1945

    Transferred to No. 7 Squadron, Alliford Bay, BC, Canada.
    Anti-submarine patrol duties.

    July 1945

    Assigned to No. 2 Air Command for storage.

    August 1946

    Assigned to RCAF Station Moose Jaw, SK, Canada for storage.

    From September 1948 to March 1949

    Converted to a Canso 2F.
    Work made by de Havilland Canada in Downsview, Ontario. Bow turret and side blisters removed.

    19 March 1949

    Transferred to North West Air Command RCAF, K Flight.

    12 August 1949

    Transferred to No. 10 Repair Depot.
    For repairs.

    Transferred to No. 413 Squadron, Rockcliffe, ON, Canada.
    Deliver and support duties for Shoran stations across Canada.

    By 8 December 1952

    Transferred to 121 Flight, Sea Island, BC, Canada.
    Operated with markings: QT-005

    2 January 1959

    Assigned to RCAF Station Lincoln Park, AB, Canada for storage.

    25 May 1961

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the Royal Canadian Air Force.

    To Frontier Air Transport, Calgary, AB, Canada with new c/r CF-NJF.

    Converted to firebomber by Field Aviation with internal water tanks.

    From 1963 to 1974

    To Kenting Aviation Ltd, Toronto, ON, Canada keeping c/r CF-NJF.

    From May 1966 to November 1966

    To Protection Civile, Marseilles, France with new c/r F-ZBAY.
    Operated with markings: F-ZBAY
    Leased to Protection Civile with this temporary registration.

    From May 1968 to September 1968

    To Protection Civile, Marseilles, France with new c/r F-ZBBD.
    Operated with markings: F-ZBBD
    Leased to Protection Civile with this temporary registration.

    From 1974 to 1979

    To North Canada Air Ltd, Prince Albert, SK, Canada with new c/r CF-NJF.
    Operated with markings: 14

    Assigned civil registration: C-FNJF
    During 1970s Canada registry system changed hence CF-NJF became C-FNJF.

    From 23 June 1980 to Circa 1997

    To Province of Saskatchewan government, La Ronge, SW, Canada keeping c/r C-FNJF.
    Markings added: 7
    Fire fighting duties.

    From 4 September 1997 to 2002

    To Hicks and Lawrence, Saint Thomas, ON, Canada keeping c/r C-FNJF.

    Converted to passenger standard by Catalina Aero Services Ltd. in Nanaimo, BC, Canada. Water-bombing equipment removed and seating put in its place, panoramic view side blisters installed.

    August 2002

    To Catalina Aircraft Ltd, Duxford, UK keeping c/r C-FNJF.

    March 2004

    Ferry flight.
    From USA to UK.

    Based at Duxford Airport, Duxford, Cambridgeshire/Cambs, England.

    To Catalina Aircraft Ltd, Duxford, UK with new c/r G-PBYA.

    Operated by Plane Sailing Air Displays Ltd, Duxford, UK.

    May 2005

    Markings Applied: 433915
    Marked as s/n 44-33915 which was Canadian-built PBV-1A c/n CV-402 delivered to the USAAF under designation OV-10A. It landed in North Sea on Mar 30, 1945 to rescue pilot of downed P-51D but was unable to take off due to engine problems. Strafed and sunk by Me 262s the next day. All occupants escaped.
