Summary: The airframe was written off. It was a local domestic non scheduled passenger flight from Berlin-Schonefeld Airport (SXF/EDDB), Germany. The accident occurred at Berlin-Schonefeld Airport (SXF) (Germany) while in the initial climb. Narrative: A Douglas DC-3C airplane, registered D-CXXX, sustained substantial damage in a forced landing near Berlin-Schonefeld Airport (SXF), Germany. The airplane, operated by Air Service Berlin had just departed on a 35-minute sightseeing flight over Berlin when the left hand engine lost power...
